Impact Oil & Gas, the oil and gas exploration company focused on emerging hydrocarbon plays around the African continent, announces the appointment of Tony Parker to the Board of the Company as a non-executive director with immediate effect.
Tony brings a wealth of capital markets experience to the Board having worked as an oil analyst and investment banker with Chase Manhattan, Bank of America, Hill Samuel where he became a Director, Corporate Finance developing and implementing corporate finance business in the energy sector. He left the City of London and became directly involved in the founding and development of small and mid-cap companies in the energy and petroleum sector. His industry experience includes working at Mobil Oil as well as being finance director at Jehan Energy and Mercury Oil & Gas Ltd.
In addition to the appointment of Tony Parker, Impact is pleased to announce that the Company’s current Exploration Manager, Steve Ilett, has joined the Board as Exploration Director. Steve is a petroleum geologist with considerable industry expertise in all aspects of petroleum geology including seismic acquisition, interpretation and interpretation. He has in-depth knowledge of African petroleum systems.
