Impact Oil & Gas Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of Robert Wilde as its new Finance Director.
Robert has 27 years of extensive experience in the energy industry, having worked in both upstream oil and gas and in downstream power generation. His career with Phillips Petroleum, Ranger Oil, Powergen, RWE, Baltic Oil Terminals and Regal Petroleum has given him in-depth exposure to onshore and offshore exploration and production, with experience of M&A, IPO and structured finance. He has worked on projects in the North Sea, Africa, Portugal, Germany, Italy, Russia and Eastern Europe.
Robert holds a BSc in Geology & Geophysics from Imperial College, London and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants England & Wales, having qualified with Ernst & Young, London.
Robert replaces Tim Saxton who steps down as non-executive Finance Director.

We see the next few years as a rapid growth period for Impact and we will need the services of a full-time FD to enable that growth to take place. While we will miss Tim – the plan from the outset was that Tim would step down when a full-time role became necessary. He has been very valuable in helping the company through its early development.”
